	Welcome to the Year 6 Page, this term our topics are                  Homework This will usually be issued on Friday and due in on Wednesdays, although there may be extra work to be completed aside from this.  Children have a Homework Diary, in which they record what needs to be done, as well as reminders. It may be used as a home/school communication book as well. PE This term our PE  will be on Mondays, when the children will be learning football skills and swimming lessons on Tuesdays, for the first half-term. During the second half-term they will do Victorian dance and netball. Much of our PE will be outside so could you please ensure that your child has trainers with them every day, as sometimes we could do other outside activities. French Building on last year’s vocabulary, the children will be learning about food, their house and the town. Cooking Linked to Victorians, we will be making harvest vegetable soup and apple galettes. Similarly to last year, please could  you  send in a £1.00 donation for cooking this term.
