After School Club Assistant
Salary Range Scale 2 SCP 3
Monday to Friday 3pm to 5.30pm
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After School Club Support Assistant to join our caring and supportive team at Holy Cross Catholic Primary Academy.
About the Role:
You will play an important role in creating a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for children at the end of the school day. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving a light meal for children
- Facilitating engaging play activities, adapted to meet pupils’ needs
- Supervising children to ensure their safety and well-being
- Maintaining a tidy, organised and welcoming environment
- Supporting with basic administrative tasks linked to the club
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children
- Is committed, flexible and enthusiastic
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Enjoys contributing to a strong, supportive team environment
Safeguarding:
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
