Prayer Progression at Holy Cross

As part of our Prayer and Liturgy at Holy Cross we encourage our pupils to write their won prayers from their hearts to God, Jesus, Mary and all of the saints. We teach the children that it is important to pray for help and support when they find things difficult, to pray for guidance and forgiveness and to give prayers of thanks. In addition to personal prayers the children learn common prayers as they move through the school and this is called a progression in prayer. Please see the document on this page to support your child with learning the prayers that they should know for their age.
