Autumn 2024

Autumn Term update.  

In autumn term we welcomed back the children into Year 4 as they joined Rabbit class. Throughout the term the children worked very hard and were adapting well to being in Year four.  

In art we looked at using different colour schemes, we created mood boards and produced these on our fabric. We used a range of mediums to complete these.  

Our science and history topics worked along side each other looking at the Mayans and solids, liquids and gases. We completed some exciting experiments looking at the melting temperatures of chocolates as well as exploring different materials and creating oobleck. Whilst studying the Mayans we looked at cocoa growing regions around the world as the Mayans were the first to find chocolate.  

A crime was committed! One break time the class room was burgled! Chocolate was stolen out of Miss Hollick’s draw and the classroom had been wrecked. The children gathered evidence and then created a newspaper report based on the crime.
