Art- Autumn Term 2024 

In art, we focused on understanding retrofuturism, developing skills in evaluating images and created art through various drawing processes, including collagraph printmaking. Pupils designed and then created their own print making tiles and used to create a background for the space themed art work.  

Science- Autumn Term 2024 

During our Earth and Space topic, pupils set up a scientific investigation to explore the effect gravity has on unsupported objects. Pupils created their own craters, measuring their size and exploring how force effects this.  

We also find out more about air resistance and its effect on falling objects. Pupils were challenged to create a parachute that allowed a small load to travel safely and slowly.
