RE- Stations of the Cross

Station 3- Jesus falls for the first time

Pupils discussed the importance of this moment within the Stations of the Cross. They reflected on the feelings of Jesus and the crowd at this moment. Pupils were given the opportunity for spontaneous prayer and reflection time to consider the importance of the Easter story.

Science- L.O Investigating soluble and insoluble materials

Pupils set up an investigation to test a variety of solid materials to determine whether they were soluble or insoluble

History and English- Spring Term

In English, pupils have been analysing the poem ‘The Highwayman’. Linked to our Georgian’s topic and the poem, children wrote a speech to read out at a trial of the Highwayman. During History day, we set up the trial and invited parents in to be our jury. The jury decided the Highwayman was a villain.
