Spring 2
This half term in Science we have been learning about Animals Including Humans, we looked at how we classify animals into vertebrates and invertebrates and then by what type of skeleton they have (endoskeleton, exoskeleton or hydrostatic skeleton).
In Maths we have been learning about measuring and using a ruler to measure accurately in metres, millimetres and centimetres. We also learnt about measuring the perimeter of different shapes.
In Art we have been learning about prehistoric art work. We created our own cave walls using lentils to create texture and then painting it grey, before painting a picture of an animal native to Britain on it in the style of prehistoric pictures.
In DT we have been learning about information design and how this helps the public to learn things and find out information. We created our own electric posters for a museum to help people learn more about the Romans.
