TEACHING ASSISTANT
Salary Range Scale 2 SCP 3 - 4 (£25,404 - £25,814 FTE)
Holy Cross Primary School is a friendly and happy school where all members of our school community are highly valued. Our support staff play an integral role in helping our pupils to make progress in all aspects of school life and to be their best. An exciting opportunity has arisen, as we currently have a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant in one of our Reception classes in September. This is a full time role of 27 hours and 30 minutes (Monday to Friday 8.40 am to 3.15pm) during term time.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and caring person to this role. The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate kindness, compassion and have a positive approach to supporting and nurturing children of all backgrounds and abilities. Experience of working in an Early Years setting would be an advantage. We can offer a collaborative and supportive working environment where everyone is valued. Appropriate qualifications with a minimum of GCSE English and Maths or equivalent are required. The successful applicant does not have to be Catholic but must be supportive of the school’s Catholic ethos.
